XU Brewing Company is a homebrewers dream of one day owning and operating a nano brewery as a way to share the hobby and passion with locals. The idea is to be involved in various homebrewing clubs, community events, farmers markets, and festivals to share a passion for the craft.

CYXU is the International Civil Aviation Organization identifier for the London International Airport. The owner and brewmaster of XU Brewing has a passion for aviation both privately and professionally. The choice was clear that there must be an added touch of aviation influence as the two hobbies often combine....in a very specific order. At the end of a grass-root's flying day at the local air strip, follows BBQ and a nice cold beer. Thus the birth of "XU"!
